Focus On Your Dreams By Controlling Your Time

When an eagle is on the prowl, it does not have time at that moment to check the views in other valley. This is Focusing on Time... Achievers have a strong sense of urgency.. Time is your most valuable personal source, use it wisely because it cannot be replaced.. Time management skills can be developed and perfected which will lead you on to greater productivity and performance. Here are some tips for daily time planning....
Create a daily " to do "  list it out the night before.
List goals and set priorities in the order of A-B-C.... Do A's first...
Handle each piece of paper once daily.
Handle your mail priority... Unattended mail causes stress, set time aside for when you will open and attend to your mails, procrastination results in mails accumulating..
Set deadlines.... This will force you to accomplish projects quickly.
Think.... How can I do it better? Set quality time aside to think about creative ways to improve the performance of your organization.. Peak performance comes through pondering. This may well proved to be invaluable to you.. When you are relaxed brain storm your situation, you will be amazed at the ideas that will spring to light.
You don't have to attend every meeting..... Be very selective regarding meetings.. Probably about half of them don't needs your attendance, someone else can go in your place and give you the reports.
Control Visitors... This is a fast line and often in sharing and wasting time ... Can I have a moment of your time? Is the opening line that can interrupted your valuable time each day..
Invest your time where it pay most... Often we invest huge amount of time where there is little returns on the efforts. You may have to spend time doing some honest thinking to analyse your time investments. Do not waste your high energy hours, invest them where they will produce the highest pay off.
Delegate Responsibility..... Achievers make the most use of their time by sharing their workload.. Then you must allow your team to put their personal stamp on projects assigned to them.. try and set completion times for your accomplishments.
